Mubarak committed to ensuring the safety of Shalit

Israeli president held yesterday talks with his Egyptian counterpart Mohammed Hosni Mubarak on the release of soldier Gilad Shalit, detained by Hamas.

    Moreover, according to a Palestinian medical sources, one Palestinian was killed yesterday in a tunnel in Rafah on the Egyptian border. Hani Razak, 30, died in a tunnel on the Egyptian border, mainly used for transporting goods, food and fuel and this, after the closure by Egypt of Rafah crossing, at the moment when the Israeli army carries out attacks against Palestinians, killing eight people, among whom one was seriously injured.

    For his part, Israeli President Shimon Peres thanked Mubarak for his efforts, his wisdom and experience, "without his great support we would not have reached any agreements. adding that 25 years have passed without wars, and it's thanks to President Mubarak, the leader who represents the great Arab country that is Egypt. "I came today to look with President Mubarak, ways to advance the efforts for peace and move forward on the right path."
