Influenza A H1N1: three deaths in Algeria
ALGIERS - Three people including a baby have died of influenza A H1N1 in Algeria, where 274 cases in total were registered, said Thursday evening the Ministry of Health.
- These are the first three confirmed fatalities in the country.
A 50 year old woman has died following complications related to his health "in Biskra (425 km south-east of Algiers) and a young woman of 27, and her baby died in Oran, the large metropolis of the West, said the ministry which did not specify the date of such death.
Fifty new cases of H1N1 were confirmed Thursday, said the Health Department in a statement, bringing the total number of reported cases to 274. - Ennaharonline/ M. O.
