• The A/H1N1 influenza vaccine will be available in 48 hours and the priority is given to health staff, schoolchildren and students, said Saturday Minister of Health, Population and Hospital reform Saïd Barkat, on visit to the province of El-Tarf (700km east of Algiers).

• The minister inspected isolation services and swine flu supplementary reference centres set up in public hospitals of Bouhadjar, El-Kala and El-Tarf. In this respect, the minister underlined the prevention and protection measures that should be taken and the hygiene rules which must be strictly respected.
