Real estate credits for small salaries (of 15.000DA)

Algiers- Finance Minister, Karim Djoudi, has declared that any person receiving a salary equal to the minimum wage, estimated at 15,000 Algerian dinars, may claim a bank credit with a nominal interest rate of 1% for the acquisition of housing.
- Small grants may now qualify for a bank loan to purchase a home. Moreover, the minister said it is no question of returning to consumption credit after the government has realized that the first concern of citizens is the acquisition of a dwelling more than any other thing.
The Algerian state, according to the finance minister, intends to concretize its new policy which is to facilitate access to bank loans under the conditions and standards defined in the complementary Finance Act of 2009 which prohibits now any consumption credit.
