Hassan Hattab called, on El Djazira, terrorists to lay down their arms.
The Qatari channel El Djazira broadcasted in its program "El Hassad El Magharibi" ...The Maghreb Harvest..., at ten-thirty 10:30 local, an audio recording of the former Emir of the Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat GSPC, Abou Hamza Hassan Hattab, in which he called the armed elements in the forests to lay down their arms and join the national reconciliation. He reminded them that what they are doing has no connection with Jihad.
- The former Emir Hassan Hattab praised in his speech, Ben Touati Ali, alias Abou Tamim Amine, the former activist and former GSPC emir of Katibat El Ansar who surrendered to the Security Services in Azazga on 28 January 2009 after his first appeal.
In addition, Hattab has criticized the authors of fetwas authorizing the massacres and who called for the discord in total ignorance, for these pseudo-scholars who allow terrorist acts between Muslims in taking advantage of the innocence and fervour of young adolescents.
The audio recording of Hassan Hattab is the second in less than a month after the first of which Ennahar holds a copy with a rare photo of the author.
This recording is in some way a following of the first which was published on 18 January 2009, and in which Hattab called elements of the El Qaeda organization to abandon terrorism activities and work towards finding the right path back in the society. "I ask you, my brothers, to fear God for your people, your country and your nation, to preserve the blood of your brothers since they are Muslims and the case is not so simple. Note that the blood of Muslims is expensive. Pour the blood of a Muslim is something very serious."
He added that the Muslim nation is faced with threats such as Zionism, asking them to stop killing their Muslim brothers and work to consolidate their ranks under the banner of Algeria and to listen to the scholars and those who have preceded (insinuating the repentants) and join the community and their families. The society is ready to accept and heal their wounds. The truth must be followed, it is one and the believer must seek and follow the truth. - Ennahar/ M. O.
