Seven members of the Salafist Group eliminated

The forces of the National People's Army managed to eliminate yesterday seven terrorist from the « Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat », during an extensive search operation conducted by its units in the forest of Beni Yenni in Tizi Ouzou.
- This operation, which is considered a violent and painful blow to the terrorist organization, came after information received by the security forces of the PNA on intense movements of armed groups in this region during these days.
This is also the most important operation, given the number of terrorists killed and which targeted one of the most important strongholds of the terrorist organization of the Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat in the region of Kabylia.
Security services have recently recorded suspicious movements in several regions, of terrorists who were planning new terrorist attacks.
According to local sources, the armed units of the National People Army are still hunting armed group members who were planning attacks in different parts of the provinces of Tizi Ouzou and Boumerdes.
The Chief of Army Staff, General Ahmed Gaid Salah, had stated at various meetings with military officials and heads of military regions, the need for greater efforts to address threats of terrorists and the need to achieve concrete results on the ground.
This came shortly after the elimination, by security services, of the head of the military structure of the Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat in the central region, Abderrachid Hodeifa, alias " Hodeifa Abu Yunis " and the Emir of the phalanx « Ali bin Abi Taleb » in the region of Tademait in the province of Tizi Ouzou.
