8.6 tons of drug Seized

- More than 8.6 tons of euphoric cannabises in cross country vehicles have been seized by the Algerian borders keepers at about 300 km south of Bechar, a city situated at 965 km southwest of Algiers, Wednesday according to the APS.
- Two people have been arrested at the same time of this seizure, made in the area of Oued-Daoura, not far from the border with Morocco, by a mobile brigade of the borders-keepers, said the regional command of the national state police.
- Three cross country vehicles, five assault rifles and an 'important' quantity of munitions have also been seized.
