Death penalty for Droukdal and 11 of his members
The criminal court of Djelfa, at its first closed session before yesterday evening, required the death penalty against the emir of ...El Qaida in Islamic Maghreb..., Abdelmalek Droukdal eleven terrorists, the majority of whom are on the run except for of one named T. K.
- The terrorists accused of creating an armed terrorist group, kidnapping and murder with premeditation and adhesion to armed groups and possession of firearms. The group was operating in the organisation of “El Qaida in Islamic Maghreb”, which has chosen Boukehil Mountains in the department of Djelfa as a strategic transit area for its activities. Its members have terrorized the people of this region for years.
According to reports, the group composed of 15 to 20 terrorists known by the security services who had surrounded them two years ago. This group is considered as one of the most dangerous terrorist groups in the Maghreb, led by the emir of El Qaida in Islamic Maghreb, Abdelmalek Droukdal, and is responsible for several terrorists’ acts and bombings in several departments of the country.
