President Bouteflika in Germany

BERLIN (Germany)- President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika has arrived Tuesday to the capital of the Federal Republic of Germany, Berlin, for a two-day official visit at the invitation of German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

  • The Head of State is accompanied by a large delegation comprising Minister of Foreign Affairs Mourad Medelci, Minister of Energy and Mines Youcef Yousfi, and Minister of Industry, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and Investment Promotion Mohamed Benmeradi. During this visit, the President of the Republic will hold talks with the German chancellor, Federal President of Germany Christian Wulff, as well as Speaker of Bundestag (Parliament) Norbert Lammert and Vice Chancellor, Federal Minster of Foreign Affairs Guido Westerwelle.
