Snow back in the East

Heavy snow falls were recorded in the eastern parts of the country especially in Constantine where it reached 10 to 15 cm thick in the morning. Snowplows were used to remove snow in Mohamed Boudiaf airport.

• Sétif woke up all covered with a nice white coat. The areas located 800 m such as Meghri, Babor and Beni Aziz where covered with snow reaching 30 cm.
  
  Bougaâ, Ain Erroui and El Eulma also recorded a lot of snow according to the weather services of the 08 May 1945 airport.
  
  According to these services, the weather will persist until tomorrow afternoon. Winds and a drop of mercury falls below zero will be recorded in the regions of Setif, Bordj Bouaréridj and Guelma.
  
  The coastal cities have also experienced snowfall like the departments of Skikda, Jijel and Tarf, according to the weather services of the airport of Constantine.
