Two terrorists killed in the east of Algiers
Two terrorists including an emir of Al Qaeda in Islamic Maghreb were killed Friday by the army forces between Boumerdès (50 km from Algiers) and Tizi Ouzou (100 km from the capital) according to security sources.
- The two men fall in an ambush led by the army to a group of ten armed terrorists near the forest of Mizrana.
The emir killed was identified as Mourad Mesrour, 38, the new chief of ‘Katibat Al Ansar’ at the head of which he had replaced Ali Bentouati alias Abou Tamime who surredered to the Algerian authorities in late January.
