Algiers- the Ministry of Health, populations and Hospital Reform, in a statement sent to all hospitals and health centres, defined the categories covered by the health duty premium.
- The instruction provided to all directions of Health, University Hospitals (CHU) and health centres, defined the categories covered by the duty premium, estimated between 8 and 9000 Dinars.
- These are doctors and paramedics who will benefit from this premium, while other officials, health technicians and even managers of hospitals will be been deprived of this premium despite the great pressure and the problems they face when performing their duties.
- Officials excluded from duty premium protested and threatened to strike and walk down the street if their claim is not considered.
