Terrorist leader Abul Khabbab killed in Oued souf

Algiers- The combined forces of the security services have succeeded, during an ambush yesterday at about 4:30 p.m., to eliminate a terrorist leader; the Emir of Oued Souf, Mohamed Nekia, alias Abul Khabbab
- The operation took place in the market of the town of El Oued, near a bookstore, when the Emir was going on foot to the market. The elements of the security forces, who were waiting for him, were able to encircle him before shooting him dead.
Abul Khabbab was shot three times, the two first bullets had reached his feet to prevent his escape, but he continued to resist them before receiving a shot in the head. None of the security forces were injured in this operation.
The body of the terrorist leader was evacuated to the hospital morgue by the civil protection services pending DNA tests to confirm his identity despite being recognized by the elements of the security forces who have recovered a PA gun and a plastic bag containing items belonging to the terrorist leader.
