- The minister, during his visit yesterday in the province of Tebessa and answering a question of Ennahar on how his sector intends to deal with hacking against state institutions sites, said that the government introduced a new project led by Algerian experts with the aim of protecting the electronics and computer systems in every sector.
- Moreover, and according to the Minister of Post and Technologies of Information and Communication, his department intends to equip all university campus with Wifi system for high speed Internet and provide ADSL Internet in all Algerian families and institutions in remote areas.
- Regarding the postal sector, Mr. Benhamadi also revealed the next generalization of ATMs from the beginning of next year in military barracks, police centers and university campuses.
- Mr. Benhamadi called for the recruitment of young scholars who are already working in the as part of pre-employment, pursuant to its last statement, adding in this sense that new positions will be open each year to strengthen the capacity of the sector.
