Algerian's sense of civic responsibility, eloquent lesson of democracy, says Bouteflika

Abdelaziz Bouteflika, re-elected president of the Republic, said Friday the Algerian people's "high sense of civic responsibility" towards the programmes proposed by the six presidential election candidates "is an eloquent lesson in democracy" in Algeria.

  • In his first statement following the announcement of presidential election results, President Bouteflika greeted Algerian people's "sense of civic responsibility" towards the ideas put forward during the election rallies held by the presidential contenders. "It's really an eloquent lesson in terms of democracy" in our country, president Bouteflika affirmed.
