A Moroccan lawyer has filed a complaint against an aunt of King Mohammed VI, accusing him of assault with a weapon injuring her in the face.

  • According to sources, the lawyer Fatima Essabri from Meknes, has filed a complaint at a Moroccan court against Hafsa Amehzoun, aunt of King Mohamed six (his mother’s sister).

According to the charges of the lawyer, the aunt of King allegedly stabbed her in the face causing her deep wounds. The facts date back to last Tuesday, when the aunt of Mohamed VI had stopped the truck of a private company, loaded with the equivalent of 200 million cents of fuel for the lawyer husband, a owner of a gas station.

According to the lawyer Essabri, the king’s aunt would have stopped the truck and had ordered the driver to drive to her own station. The driver had refused because the order was on behalf of the husband's lawyer. Then the aunt of the king, accompanied by 40 people armed with beats and knives attacked the driver of the truck and attacked the station and the cafeteria of the station. When the lawyer decides to file a complaint to the police services, the aunt of the king attacked her with a knife before the police officers who did not daring to intervene.

The lawyer, who had been deeply injured in the face, underwent a surgery on the face and should undergo another surgery on her spine.

  • Lawyers in the city of Meknes have observed a one-day strike late last week in solidarity with their colleague attacked by the king's aunt, her daughters and cronies.
