Poutine: the era of cheap gas is almost over

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Poutine, said Tuesday that ...the era of cheap gas... was coming to an end, in a speech at the Forum of Gas Exporting Countries (FPEG) meeting in Moscow.

• ’The era of cheap energy, cheap gas is clearly at an end, despite the financial problems known,’ he said, in reference to the financial crisis.
  
  The evolution of world oil prices falling in recent months, which are indexed to those of gas, is among the topics discussed by the FPEG, an informal organization bringing together the main holders of gas reserves.
