A soldier killed in a bomb explosion in Beni Amrane

A group of armed terrorists blew up yesterday morning, a bomb near the military residence in the town of Beni Amrane, south of the Department of Boumerdes causing the death of a sub officer who was in his car.

• According to well informed sources, the armed terrorist elements operating in the forests of Beni Amrane have put two bombs in a dumpster a few meters from the residence of the elements of the PNA in the town of Beni Amrane which they blew around 07H30 Tuesday morning coinciding with the exit of sub officer in his car killing him on the spot and causing damage to his vehicle.
  
  Moreover, the security forces managed to defuse a second bomb. An extensive search operation was then triggered in the neighbouring region of Beni Amrane forests known to be a stronghold of terrorism for its difficult relief making it an ideal refuge for terrorists after the last operation which was the attack against the employees of the company ‘Razal’ who were retrieving the remains of two trains after the accident that had caused the death of a foreigner and his driver last summer.
