Sit-in of a family outside the headquarters of the prefecture of El Oued

All means seem to be good for the Algerians in order to reach their goal. The family of a mujahid (resistance fighter) Lamiri, composed of head of family, his wife and his children, decided to do a nude sit-in outside the office of the prefecture of El Oued. All the members of the family sit the middle of the National Road 12 linking El Oued to Touggourt
- The father complained about the Chief of Staff of the prefect, who he said had ousted him from the prefecture after refusing to hear his grievances. He also complained of the mayor of El Oued and the police officers. What pushed him and is his family to get naked in front of the seat of the prefecture, he says, is the Hogra (injustice) after his land, inherited from father to son, has been robbed
The scene attracted onlookers who crowded around the family believing in a theater or the circus, while others tried to convince the woman to watch the baby, aged one year, because of the heat, but the latter refused and said, "let us die here." Someone decided to snatch the baby from her hand and firefighters took him to hospital emergency.
The police watched and regulated traffic while ensuring that they are not struck by vehicles. -
The mujahid had already attempted suicide by immolation a few days ago before the seat of Daira of El Oued after he has not found his name on the list of beneficiaries of social housing.
