Our Ministers and the football match Algeria - Egypt
Many of our ministers have expressed their enthusiasm for football and their wishes for the victory against Egypt at the highly anticipated match, scheduled for June 07 at Mustapha Tchaker, accounting for the second phase of the African qualifications for the football World Cup 2010 in South Africa.
- Ministers contacted by Ennahar, predicted victory for national team, advancing different scores. Some ministers believe that the Greens will win with two goals to nil, while others argue scored two goals to one.
What's on, concerning our national team, there is no difference between the simple support and the Minister, except that the latter can easily win a place of honour in the stadium. Most of our ministers will watch the match in their offices because of their responsibilities.
Ben Aissa “Inchallah we shall win with 2 goals to nil. If I were not working, I would go to the stadium”.
The Minister for Agriculture and Rural Development, Rachid Ben Aissa was surprised by the question of Ennahar on the match that will oppose the national team to its Egyptian counterpart, scheduled for 7 June, which falls within the framework of eliminations for the World Cup. This latter burst of laughter before wishing the victory of the green and said that the national team must win with the score two goals to nil even without knowing the composition of the Algerian selection.
Ben Aissa, “I would have liked to go at Tchaker Stadium, but the date of the meeting, 07 June, is a working day. I would be in the office where I would follow the match on TV.” “If the game was played at the weekend, nothing would have prevented from going to the stadium.”
Concerning the advice he would give the Algerian coach Rabah Saâdane before the meeting, the minister refused to intervene. According to him “Saâdane is an expert in the field of sport. His team must enter the field to ensure victory.”
Among former Algerian footballers, Ben Aissa is a fan of Rabah Madjer, Belloumi, Kouici, r Cerbah and Dahleb.
Bessalah: “I will watch the game whatever the circumstances, and we will win with 2 goals Inchallah"
Technology Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Hamid Bessalah had refused previously to express his opinion on the match between the Algeria to Egypt. Seeing that we insist, he confessed his desire to see the Greens win the match. He also said he would follow the match whatever the circumstances.
Concerning the composition of the team, Bessalah said he was not authorized to advise Saâdane. “Rabah Saâdane is a specialist in the field, therefore it is impossible to advise those who are experts in their field”.
Ben Bouzid: “Alas! The Baccalaureate exams coincide with the day of the match”
Boubekeur Ben Bouzid was sorry that the match date coincides with the Baccalaureate examinations, despite this, he hoped that our team wins the by achieving the highest possible score against Egypt which he regarded as a tough team.
Regarding his opinion on the composition of the national team, he said: “As a former Minister of Youth and Sports, I have no doubt in the capacity of the national coach Rabah Saadane, therefore, the elements he will naturally choose will be good.” He added “If it is not the Baccalaureate examinations, I would have been among the first to follow the meeting that I prefer to see on TV at home.” “Since the time when I was Minister of Youth and sports, I prefer to watch football matches on television, although the atmosphere is better in the stadiums”.
About his favourite sports, Ben Bouzid confessed his love for football and he never misses an opportunity to play football in the government team where also evolve Ammar Ghoul, Yahia Guidoum, Mouldi, Aïssaoui and others against other minister of government.
Her favourite player is currently Karim Ziani who plays in France.
Ben Bada: "Saâdane should invest every minute of the match and must take into consideration the psychological aspect”
According to Mustapha Ben Bada, Minister for SMEs, the players of the national team should focus on the psychological aspect and invest every minute of the match. Ben Bada told us he knew of the national team the composition through the press and that he follows sports events very closely. According to him, despite the problems facing the sport in general, the public enthusiasm and support of the state will be a strong push to the new composition of Rabah Saâdane.
According to Ben Bada, Saâdane has experience in the field, making him able to start the match against Egypt and achieve victory. He added that we should not make the players and officials responsible for failure in the case of defeat. Football, according to the minister, is a game and should remain as such.”
Ben Bada fears for the psychological side of Algerian players. Something that decreases the chances of the team win, he said. Although technically they are good, the psychological side should be well worked. The minister is a staunch supporter of the USMA, he preferred Hadj Aissa and promises to see the game.
