Terrorists Ben Youcef Tachfine and Hocine El Fertas eliminated

According to confirmed sources of Ennahar, the Army forces have succeeded, during an operation, still ongoing, in the region Zemenzar on the heights of Oued Guergour in the Department of Tizi Ouzou, to eliminate the a terrorist named ...Mouheb Youcef... alias ...Ben Youcef Tachfine,... emir of ...Katibat Ennour.... This ...Katibat... is regarded as one of the most important of the organization ...El Qaeda in Islamic Maghreb... in central regions.

• Villagers in the region of Zemenzar have provided important information to the security services, stating that armed elements activated recently in this region. Mouheb Youcef, from the region of Ben Chenoud, an important element in the terrorist organization, brought to the head of ‘Katibat Ennour’, in replacement of the former emir ‘Ghazi Toufik,’ aias ‘Tahar,’ who was dismissed from his duties five months ago after the operation led by security forces against 12 leaders of the terrorist organization and which has caused many problems to this ‘katibat.’
  
  Youcef Mouheb also previously held the post of treasurer of ‘Katibat El Ansar’ before being elected emir of ‘Katibat Ennour’ by the terrorist organization in order to revive the activity of this katibat which had suffered painful blows by the security services in April 2007. For two years, Katibat Ennour received several strikes from the security services that have resulted in the elimination of its emirs one after the other.
  
  Furthermore, the so-called ‘Melikchi Hocine,’ alias ‘Dahmane El Fertas’ was also eliminated in the same operation. The latter, from Draâ Ben Khedda, had joined the terrorist organization three years ago.   Melikchi Hocine, a very active element in traffickers network dealing with registration cards, known for his numerous problems with justice. He managed to win his place in Katibat Ennour thanks to his ability to use his old acquaintances in the network of traffickers. He was behind the purchase of several vehicles that have been used in suicide operations, such as the Renault Traffic that was used in the suicide operation in Dellès. Melikchi is the vital link between the terrorist organization and the network of traffickers in the region of Kabylia. During this operation, still underway, three weapons machine guns, a pump shotgun and a handgun FMPK have been recovered, plus a quantity of incentives documents.
