Barça players: Like 'Gladiators'

To galvanize his players just before the final of Champions League in Rome Wednesday, the coach of FC Barcelona, Pep Guardiola, has placed a video showing images of the film ...Gladiator..., reported Friday the Spanish daily El Pais.

•     Shortly before the start of the match, won 2 to 0 against Manchester United, Guardiola has shortened the heating of the players to show them a video starts with images of the Ridley Scott film, winner of five Oscars in 2000.
  
      This seven-minute video, specially mounted by a journalist friend of Guardiola, also showed some of the best phases of play of each player during the season.
  
      It ended on an advertising sport sponsor of Barça or scrolling the text: “We are the center of the field, we are our precision, we are our effort, we are attackers who defend, we are defenders who attack, we are our speed, we are the recognition of our adversaries, we are each goal that we score, we are the ones who are always the opposing goal. WE ARE ONE.”
  
      El Pais reports that at the end of the projection, when the lights were turned on in the dressing room, some players were crying and their screaming demonstrated that the target had been reached.
  
      Guardiola would have then left them into the Olympic Stadium in Rome, without uttering a single word.
