2010 WC-ACN: Algeria ... Egypt, defeat not allowed
The national football team returned Friday to Algeria after two-week training session in south of France to prepare for the match against Egypt, to be contested on Sunday at 8:30 p.m. in Mustapha Tchaker stadium (Blida province, 50-km west of Algiers) as part of the second day of the qualifying rounds for the 2010 World Cup and African Cup of Nations.
- The team-mates of the Captain Yazid Mansouri headed for the town of Blida where they will continue their preparations at the Military Hotel. A training session is scheduled for Saturday at Mustapha Tchaker stadium at 8:30 p.m.
- After a modest performance by both Algeria and Egypt against, respectively Rwanda (0-0) and Zambia (1-1), the two teams know well that a defeat means leaving out the competition.
- Ziani’s team-mates have the advantage of playing in front of their fans, on their home turf and count on this to win all three qualifying points.
