Football, Algeria-Egypt: The Greens defeat the Africa champions

BLIDA (Algeria)- What a beautiful victory for the "Fennecs" against Egypt, African champions, in the match contested on Sunday evening in Blida province (50-km west of Algiers), as part of the second round of the qualifying heats for the African Cup of Nations and the World Cup 2010.

  • Algerian footballers snatched a 3-1 victory, marking thus the beginning of a beautiful saga that might entitle them to qualify for CAN and WC 2010. The victory was not that easy against the strong Egyptian players who threatened to score on many occasions. Saadane has also won the coaching battle over his opponent the Egyptian Hassan Shehata.

hey wait ,algeria dont forget you come to chililabombwe the grave yard of zambia and that will be the end of you. you have done that to egypt at your backyard not when you are away.and tell your FA president to stop playing with fifa, because konkola stadium was certify fit by fifa it self.you just loose when you come and will follow you and finish you at you backyard.

algeria beat eygpt now and later and for ever because we represent to them a nightmare whether we are strong or not
so at least they have to admit that we were better this time.
