• ALGIERS - President Abdelaziz Bouteflika congratulated the national football team for its victory Saturday afternoon at Chililabombwé Stadium in Zambia on his opponent (2-0) for the 3rd day (Gr. C) combined qualifications for the World Cup and the African Cup 2010.
  
  "Our national team has once again succeeded in front of a stubborn adversary in a decisive match. It came out victorious thanks to a fair and exemplary performance and made a remarkable game showing the skills of our players and their highest level.
  
  “Our players have rejoiced their audience by offering it the victory and success, an audience that has followed this game with all its heart and its senses,” wrote President Bouteflika in his message of congratulations to the national football team.
  
  “There is no doubt that this victory will qualify our team to the next meetings and we pray God to grant us victory and qualification for the African Cup and the World cup,” added President Bouteflika.
  
    “I welcome this great achievement that pleased me and the entire Algerian people; I hope you persevere on the path of success to achieve the return of Algeria to the African and world football scene. May God guide your,” concluded the Head of State.
