Franck Ribéry in Pilgrimage to Mecca

The French international who plays with Bayern Munich, Franck Ribéry, of Muslim faith, visited Monday Mecca to perform the Omra, during the short stay of his club in Saudi Arabia

After playing the first half of the match that opposed his club to El Wihda (Saudi 1st division) in Jeddah, Franck Ribery and his Turkish teammate Hamid Altintop went to Mecca, 70 Km from Djeddah, for the Omra.
Franck or Bilal, his new name of Islam and Hamid joined their teammates, in the night, just before departure for Germany.
