CAF Cup: Entente de Sétif qualified to semi –finals

The Algerian team of the Entente of Setif is qualified for the semi-finals of the Cup of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), snatching the 1st place in its group, according to final rankings of G- A published in the night Saturday to Sunday on CAF official website.

  •  Sétif players, with a positive goal difference +5 (14 goals scored and 9 received) and ahead of the Egyptian ENPPI (goal difference of +3), which ranked second and also qualify for the semi-finals.

  • AS Vita Club (DR Congo) and Santos (Angola) are for them eliminated with no goal difference (7 goals scored and as many received) and under 8 (3 goals and 11 received) respectively.

  • The defeat of the Entente of Setif on Saturday night, facing the ENPPI (1-3) and success at the same time, of Santos FC against AS Vita Club (1-0), meant that four clubs totalled the same number of points (9) after the final day of G- A.
