Volleyball : Algeria vs. Egypt for the title

Algiers- Algeria is eyeing the title early Sunday evening in Tetouan (Morocco) in what promises to be an explosive final against defending champions Egypt at the 17th African Nations Volleyball Championships.

• Drawn in a difficult group against Egypt and runners-up Tunisia, the Algerians did surprise everyone in reaching the final after overcoming Cameroon in a hard-fought clash, scraping through in the final set tie-break 25-19, 28-26, 22-25, 14-25, 15-13, Saturday in Tetouan (Morocco).

• In Sunday’s final, they will attempt to overthrow Egypt who saw off host country Morocco 3-0 (25-18, 25-20, 25-18) to reach their fourth final in a row.
