The Desert Foxes in Khartoum

Khartoum (Sudan)- Algerian football team arrived Sunday at about 4:30 pm local time (2:30 pm Algiers) in Khartoum (Sudan) from Cairo, an Algerian diplomatic source from the Sudanese capital has said.

• The national team was welcomed upon their arrival at the airport of Khartoum by Algerian community members based in Sudan, brandishing national flag, as well as the members of Algerian Embassy, representatives of Sudanese government and Sudan Football Association (SFA), he added.

• National team is due to contest a play-off match Wednesday against Egypt as part of the 2010 world Cup/African Cup of Nations joint qualifiers, group C, Africa zone.
