CAN 2010: Groups’ draw to be known Friday

The of Algerian football selection will know next Friday its opponents in the finals of the 27th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations CAN-2010 at the draw scheduled at 3:00 pm at the Talatona Conference Centre in Luanda, in the presence of the head of state Mr. José Eduardo dos Santos.

• Absent in the last two editions of 2006 Egypt and 2008 in Ghana, the “Greens” will be placed in the Pot 3 alongside with Zambia, Togo and Benin.
  
  Basking in its classification at the World Cup 2010 in South Africa after its victory against Egypt (1-0) last Wednesday night in Khartoum, the Algerian team could find Egypt on its way as in 2004 in Tunisia. The greens won with the score of 2 to 1.
