Abdelmalek Ziaya ranks seventh worldwide

Algiers- Algerian Club ES Setif's striker, Abdelmalek Ziaya, ranks seventh worldwide among the leading goal scorers, with 13 goals, according to November rankings of the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS), published on Sunday.

• In the rankings, the IFFHS takes into consideration the goals scored since early 2009, during the various international events. Ziaya was behind this season's decisive goals with ES Setif club, in matches played as part of the African Confederation Cup.

• In this respect, Algeria's championship title holder will contest the final first leg tonight (Sunday) against Stade Malien club of Mali, at the "8 May 1945" Stadium of Setif.
