Santander refuses to free Lacen to join the Greens in Angola

The administration of the Spanish football club Santander began creating false problems to put pressure on his player Mehdi Lacen, immediately after the arrival of the convening of the Algerian Saâdane coach for the player to participate in African Cup of Nations which will take place next January in Angola.

  • Leaders of the football Club Santander are trying to pressure the Algerian player Mehdi Lacen so that he can not join the Algerian team in the course of preparation expected next December 27. The correspondence of the FAF, received by the club administration informing them of the release of the player for his participation in the African cup of nations, was conformable to the FIFA regulations.

This was not well received by the club where Lacen is an essential player; the most involved with the club in the championship and the cup. Santander executives have asked to discuss with the Algerian coach Rabah Saadane to enable Lacen to stay with his team and postpone convening till the World Cup.

The leaders of Santander consider the absence of Lacen for nine games as a blow to the club.

Why is it whatever site I go to there are Egyptians pretending to be English or Algerian etc... Mehdi, Algeria woul love you to be onboard for the World Cup - we need a left footed attacking midfielder to control the midfield with Meghni and Ziani. Matmour and Bouazza on the right and left wings and a solid defence and Algeria has a good chance of coming second in the group after England! : )
