- Tax revenues during the first ten months of 2009 reached 965 billion AD, an increase of over 100 billion of AD compared to the same period the previous year, said Tuesday the General Director of tax (DGI), Abderahmane Raouia. The head of the General directorate of tax, speaking on the airwaves of national radio, also said that the intensification of efforts on tax collection has allowed to "collect 15 billion AD", noting, however, that the debts of large enterprises "are estimated currently at 600 billion AD.”
