De Rossi: sympathize with Ghaza
The captain of the Roma football team, Daniele De Rossi did not hide his sympathy for the Palestinian people who suffer the savage Zionist aggression in the Ghaza strip. In his statement to Rome television station at the end of the match which opposed his team to Napoli and which ended at the score 3-0.
- Supporters of Roma brandished a large banner in San Paolo stadium, denouncing the massacres committed by the Zionists on civilians in Ghaza. On this point De Rossi said, "We have done a great match today and we have achieved a huge victory, but this is not the most important, the most important is what the supporters of Roma did when they lifted the great banner to remind us of the Palestinian casualties.
They forgot the match and have remembered the victims of this massacre and I present my thanks for this action because what happened there is a real massacre that should not be forgotten.
The Italian stadiums always sympathise with the Palestinian people. The example of the match which opposed Roma and AC Milan at the Olympic Stadium two weeks ago, when the Palestinian flag was waving with banners denouncing the Zionist aggression against Ghaza.
The world will not forget what the Italian national team, winner of the 82 World Cup when they dedicated the championship Cup to Palestinian forces in Beirut.
