- The national team was beaten Wednesday night at the « 5 July Olympic Stadium in Algiers by Serbia (3-0) in a friendly match in preparation for the 2010 World Cup. The Serb goals were scored by Pantelic (15), Brkic (56th) and Tosic (64th). The Greens have offered several good chances but failed to succeed and meet realistic in front of the Serbs. The player Mehdi Lahcen made his first appearance with the Greens in the midfield.
