Chaouchi suspended three matches by CAF
Algiers- Algerian international goalkeeper, Faouzi Chaouchi excluded by referee Coffi Kodjia in the semi-finals of the African Cup of Nations (CAN-2010) in Angola, was sentenced to three game suspension.
- Faouzi Chaouchi expelled by the referee Coffi Giddings in the semi-finals of the African Cup of Nations (CAN-2010) in Angola, was sentenced to three game suspension, we learned Friday from the Algerian Football Federation (FAF). Besides the three-game suspension, the Disciplinary Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has fined 10,000 dollars to the FAF. The Goalkeeper of ES Setif, who has already served one match suspension against Nigeria on behalf of the 3rd place of CAN-2010, will miss the next two qualifying games of the 2012 CAN against Tanzania and Centrafrique.
