Zaher was ordered not to apologize to Algeria
Algiers- The spokesman for the Egyptian football federation, Medhat Chalabi said that Samir Zaher, president of the board of directors of the federation had received orders from above not to apologize to Algeria after the crises between the two countries following incidents during the meetings that have opposed Egypt to Algeria on behalf of combined qualifying (World Cup-African Cup of Nations 2010.
- Once again is confirmed the involvement of Egyptian senior authorities, represented in the Mubarek family, in the incidents and serious and assaults that the Algerian players have experienced in addition to terror caused by mercenaries of the Egyptian Federation of football and on their heads Zaher and his henchmen.
According to Chalabi during his TV program "Modern Sport", yesterday, Tuesday, "if Egypt was offending against the Algerians before the meeting of 14 November last year, Algeria also has terrorized the Egyptians in Omdurman in Sudan, so there is no need to apologize "
The Egyptians are always bound to their version in order to put pressure on FIFA and avoid heavy sanctions after the cowardly attacks.
On the other hand, Chalabi prevents the president of the FAF, Mohamed Raouraoua, in case he uses his membership in the disciplinary committee of FIFA to punish Egypt. "I warn Mohamed Raouraoua,that he would play with fire if he tries to influence his colleagues in the Discipline Committee of FIFA to issue sanctions against Egypt, this will rekindle the feelings of hatred between the two peoples after the relative calm in the recent period.
Zaher: "We won’t apologize to Algeria .."
The President of the Egyptian Football Federation, Samir Zaher, said before his attended the FIFA committee that his federation will never apologize to Algeria after the incident in Cairo and Khartoum as "the case is about many errors that occurred before and after this meeting," he said.
Samir Zaher, speaking to the satellite channel Dream TV, said:" There are attempts by many Arab athletes to reach an agreement between the Egyptian and Algerian parties to put an end to this crisis, but we specify that the Regulation should be fair because we also have have our rights".
Zaher is currently in Zurich, Switzerland with a delegation of FEF for the treatment of the Egyptian case presented by Algeria to FIFA.

Back to 1967 through 1973. Agypt shoul dleans lessons from teh brave Algerians of mazigh heritage...We're glad for not being arabs. By the way Egyptians never consider themselves africans, anyway!
They'd better move a bit to the East closer to theirs brothers from Asia.
