Mohamed Raouraoua elected head of the Federation
Mohamed Raouraoua (63 years) was elected Monday at head the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) by the General Assembly of this institution, said the Algerian press agency APS.
- Mr. Raouraoua succeeds to Hamid Haddadj becoming the 23rd president of the FAF since Algeria's independence in 1962.
Mr. Raouraoua makes his return at the head of the Federal institution which he chaired from 2001 to 2005.
Raouraoua was re-elected last Wednesday in Abuja (Nigeria) for the second consecutive time in the executive committee of the African Confederation of Football (CAF).
