Hannachi: "I am ready to make peace with Raouraoua if…"
The president of the flagship club of Kabylia, JSK, Mohand Cherif Hannachi, said in an interview with Ennahar, he was ready to make peace and reconcile with the strong man of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF), Mohamed Raouraoua.
- This comes following the publication in Ennahar daily of the decision of the FAF to withdraw all complaints against Hannachi. "I was in court and the information you published are true. The Federation has withdrawn all complaints against me and I, in my turn, congratulate the Federation, and want to say through your newspaper, I am ready for reconciliation with Raouraoua. Why not to accept. But on one condition, I must restore the right of my club, since I am the President, I intend to protect the interests of my club, that’s all," said Hannachi before adding "Raouraoua is not my enemy as some would have tried to make us believe. As a person, I respect him; all must know that when one is at the head of a club of the size of JSK, he must work hard to make of it a great club locally and in the continent. This can only be possible if one has the will to defend it."
Regarding the project of professionalism and the association recently installed with the rest of the presidents of national clubs, Hannachi said "We did not meet because we want to be a union or something like that. Today, we are an association that claims the rights of clubs to obtain support from relevant authorities in Algeria to begin professionalism, neither more nor less. Until today, the clubs could not enter professionalism despite the efforts of each club ... the meetings we had held were all built on the desire of every president to get his club out of amateurism and enter into the real professionalism.
