Halilhodzic wants to beat Tunisia and Cameroon

ALGIERS - The coach of the national football team, Vahid Halilhodzic, said Wednesday in Algiers, he was very committed "to win the next two matches against Tunisia and Cameroon", scheduled next Saturday and Tuesday at Blida and 5-July stadiums, despite their friendly nature.

  • "I spoke to the players on the evening of the first day of the training course, and I asked them to win the two friendly matches against Tunisia and Cameroon. I want them to continue the momentum gained from the last meeting against Central African Republic," said the Bosnian technician, during his press conference at the Olympic complex, Mohamed Boudiaf.

  • "I want to instil in my group this aggressiveness to win, to address all their encounters with the spirit of winners," he added.

  • The Greens are, since Tuesday, in a blocked internship, at the technical centre of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) in Sidi Moussa, in Algiers which runs until November 16 with two friendlies on the menu against Tunisia and Cameroon.

  • The goalkeeper Micael Fabre, has not made the trip to Algiers, due to injury, said the national coach, not without showing anger against him.
