London Olympics 2012: Egypt in the semi-finals, Algeria eliminated
Egypt has managed to beat South Africa (2-0) and Gabon crushed Ivory Coast (3-1) and advanced to the semi-finals of the qualifying tournament for the Olympics -2012 Africa zone, while Algeria, beaten 4-1 by Nigeria is eliminated.

- The Pharaohs will face Wednesday the Atlas Lions of Morocco for a place in the finals while the Gabonese will meet Senegal on Tuesday.
- The tournament winner, the finalist and the third placed team will automatically qualify for the Olympics in London. The fourth placed team will play a play-off against a nation from the Asian region.
