استرجعت مصالح الإستعلامات التابعة لجهاز الشرطة مهمة التحقيق مع المسؤولين المقترحين لتولي مناصب ومسؤوليات في مختلف مصالح الدولة. وتشير معلومات رسيمة إلى أن المديرية العامة للأمن الوطني راسلت جميع رؤساء أمن الولايات عبر الوطن لاتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة من أجل تكليف مصالح الإستعلامات بمواصلة التحقيقات الجارية بدلا من الشرطة القضائية التي كلفت بهذه المهمة سنة 2009 بعد أن كانت من المهام الأساسية لمخابرات الشرطة.
